His music embodies a distinctive contemporary artistic vision — deeply rooted in Iranian cultural identity while exploring and integrating diverse Western compositional styles from the Baroque era to the present.
Recognized as a poly-stylist composer, Khadem’s artistry reflects a dialogue between tradition and innovation, creating a unique soundscape that resonates across cultures and musical genres.
He has appeared internationally, both as a composer and piano soloist, with orchestras such as the
Prague Metropolitan Orchestra, the Craiova Philharmonic Orchestra (Romania), the Armenian Chamber Orchestra, the
Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra, the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, and the Bacău Philharmonic Orchestra.
Besides his Takhti Symphonic Poem and other works in Western classical forms such as chamber and symphonic music,
he also seeks to collaborate with artists across different disciplines to present rich cultural narratives drawn from
Iranian history, literature, and mythology — notably The Leader: A Melodrama and
The Seven Trials of Esfandiar, a large-scale musical theatre work.
